

The Location makes
all the difference Bali is located in the centre of the
Indonesian archipelago between the Indian Ocean in the
south and the Java Sea in the north. With its 13,677 islands
it is the largest archipelago in the world and connects
Asia with Australia. The island with its 5,620 square
metres is inhabited by almost 3 million Balinese. About
300,000 live in Denpasar, the capital. The majority of
the population lives in small villages scattered all over
the island along the paddy fields. From east to west a
volcanic mountain range extends itself over the whole
island with its highest mountain, the Gunung Agung (3,142
m).
