Air
Sanih

Alas Kedaton Amlapura

Goa Gajah
The Elephant Cave is a representative of culture and history
preservation in the island of Bali. Previously, it was a set
of buildings structure used for prayer as well as for meditation
and austere practices.
Structurally interesting, the entry of the cave appears to be
framed by a stunning relief where animals and plants figures
are tangled.
The whole complex is completely conserved. Almost certainly,

Goa Lawah
The Goa Lawah Temple or the Bat Cave name comes from the
fact that this well-built blessed complex rises right facing
a cave where factually thousands of bats hang serenely from
its walls, slumbering until the time comes to take off in fight,
normally at night, to go look for good.
Gunung Kawi
Sitting in a beautiful panoramic setting, Gunung Kawi is
visited not only for the lush natural setting but also for the
monuments that stand out as a symbol of culture.
The Gunung Kawi sanctuary is still used today for ritual ceremonies
and the local population gathers here periodically to offer
the usual gifts, to pay homage to the ancient king and his family,
and to pray the gods.
A set of buildings of rock temples is grouped in three locations.

Jati Luwih
Jati Luwih is a mountain village and famed for its magnificent
landscapes. The whole landscape of the southern Bali can be
seen from this area.
Jimbaran
Jimbaran is another resort near Kuta, which the tourist

boats blush the panorama.
Jogging is widely practiced sport in Jimbaran beach and is especially

Jungut Batu

Kebun Raya Bedugul

Lovina Beach
In the western part of Singaraja, long stretch of black
sand beach encompasses Anturan, Tukad Mungga, Kalibukbuk, Kaliasem
and Temukus villages collectively called Lovina.
Lining up of busy losmen and hotels with the depleted shady
sea makes Lovina one of the most stirring beaches in Bali.
Tranquility, incredible under water world and dolphins are the
magnetism of Lovina. From Lovina, visiting Pulau Menjangan,
which is a part of West Bali National Park will be interesting
for diving lover.
Mas
Mas is best known for its intricate woodcarvings and masks.
Medewi

Peliatan

Semarapura / Klungkung
Klungkung is the past name of the capital of the Klungkung
District, today known as Semarapura. At the era of the kingdom,
it was in fact the capital of all Bali island. Klungkung has
a particular status in the Bali's history and civilization.
As an artistic center, the palaces of Klungkung's King and aristocrat
family supported and developed the methods of music, drama and
arts that thrive today in Bali. The regency capital was moved
to Klungkung from close Gelgel in 1710 and at this point a new
fortress was built. Today the remains of the old fortress, Puri
Semarapura, demolished in 1908, are within the foundation of
Taman Gili.
Its main magnetism is Kertagosa, a prehistoric building located
in the center of the city, which plays a significant role of
the region's cultural tourism. The tourists can enjoy the valuable
painted ceilings.
Sangeh
Sangeh is one of the most famous monkey forest located in
the district of Badung. In keeping with tradition, it has a
pala and a temple, the Taman Sari.
Since monkeys rule the area, tourists should turn to qualified
personnel in case of any problem.
Sanur
The main attraction of Sanur beach are the beaches with
their very white sand and the beauty of constantly calm water.
Sanur area has all level of accommodation and solid network
of infrastructure.
Sanur is also the place where the few remaining of Brahman Kuasa
villages found. Some of the charming ritual procession such
as Bali's only all-female keris dance is held in this area.
The Prasasti Blanjong, an emblazoned pillar here dated AD 913,
is Bali's earliest behind the times relic and is now kept in
a temple in Blanjong village, southern part of Sanur.
Sayan
Located in the southern part of Kedewatan, Sayan is a small
village in Ubud that reel on the edge of amazingly astonishing
Sayan ridge, with the Agung River plunging along the bottom.
The panorama is certainly some Bali's most spectacular. The
Ayung is a popular place for whitewater rafting trips.
Selat & Iseh
By visiting this area, tourist will have the opportunity
to capture the stunning landscape with Agung Mountain as the
background.
Serangan Island
Serangan Island is well known as 'Turtle Island'. Diving
area is available in this area. The other attraction in the
island is Sakenan Temple.
Singaraja
Singaraja is the largest city after Denpasar. The population
includes many ethnic and religious groups.
Singaraja has a historical library, The Gedong Kirtya that collects
more than 3,000 Balinese manuscripts. The Dutch established
it in the late 1920s. It has the finest collection of lontar,
which is a traditional books emblazoned on palm leaf strips
and potted between two pieces of wood or bamboo.
Sukawati
A wide collection of artwork with reasonable prices can
be found on the art market of Sukawati.
Suluban
Suluban is one of the most excellent beaches for surfing.
Tabanan
Tabanan's shore is an emergent tourist resorts, even though
its coast is quite dangerous, with little reef as buffer. At
the end of every side road to the coast lies a long beach, with
surf sometimes break over 3 meters high.
Tabanan's landscape varies from volcanic mountains to terraced
rice plains. This is the rice bowl of Bali, with higher production
of rice than anywhere else. Tabanan, with its beaches and tropical
rainforests, is one of the most beautiful districts in Bali.
In Krambitan, the Tabanan royal family has two palaces - Puri
Anyar and Puri Agung Wisata.
Tampak Siring
As a home of numerous woodcarvers, tourist can find a wide
selection of woodcarving products. Another attraction in Tampak
Siring is the Presidential Palace designed by former Indonesian
President Sukarno.
Tanah Lot
Located in Tabanan, just across the boundary of Badung regency,
Tanah Lot is the most well-known and photographed temple.
A truly remarkable and feature temple, Tanah Lot is built on
a stony narrow piece of terrain, which the high tides transform
into an island, making right of entry from the land impossible.
It is particularly reminiscent at sunset when the illumination,
at times a slender thread and others, a dazzling spark, springs
back the waves. The beach around Tanah Lot is less comfortable
for swimming but great for horse riding and watching spectacular
sunset. Although surfing can be done in this area but it's recommended
not for beginner.
Tenganan
Tenganan village is located just west of Candi Dasa. This
is one of the homes of the Bali Aga (original Balinese), the
first population of Bali. The Tengananese believe they have
been chosen to honor the royal family by offering sacrifices
and rituals, and by managing the neighboring lands.
Recently the society has opened itself up to outsiders, although
strict rules still apply, especially concerning marriage to
outsiders. Tenganan features wonderful fabrics, one of the most
renowned is gringsing double weave ikat cloth.
Tirta
Gangga
Tirta Gangga is the site of a beautiful palace by the water,
built by the last king of Karangasem, Anak Agung Anglurah Ketut,
in 1947. Some part of the palace was demolished by the eruption
in 1963, but the famous bathing pools remains. The palace offers
a great peace.
Toya
Bungkah
Toya Bungkah is a stop over for travelers who climb Mount
Batur. It has a hot spring presumed to have therapeutic traits.
Trunyan
Just across of Lake Batur, tourists can visit Trunyan, the
best-known Bali Aga village. Original Balinese lives in this
village. Previously, their ancestor rejected changes brought
by Majapahit aggressor of Java in the 14th Century.
The villagers keep their remarkable funeral tradition. The dead
are left in an open lowest point for nature to eradicate, and
are enclosed only by a cloth and a bamboo roof.
After being Isolated for centuries, Trunyanese keeps under veil
of secrecy Bali's largest traditional statue, they believe is
the God of the world's center.
Tulamben
With the panorama changing drastically to dry hills covered
with scrub, Tulamben is quieter and even more popular for diving.
As one of the most renowned diving site in Indonesia, Tulamben
offers diverse marine life and magnificent under water world.
Ubud
Ubud has become known worldwide as a center for the arts
and is located 25 Kilometers from Denpasar. Spectacularly set
among lush rice paddies and the stunning hillsides of central
Bali, Ubud harbors a number of palaces and temples, museums
and art galleries, and a host of cafes and restaurants.
Uluwatu
These beaches are popular among surfers. Lack of supporting
facilities is not an obstacle for tourist with adventure spirit
to conquer the waves.
Now, a number of infrastructure developments have been started
to establish in these area. This means as an effort to provide
a good accessibility for anyone who come there.
West Bali National Park
West Bali National Park covers about 70,000 hectares and
famous for white starling (Leucopsar Rothchildii) and wild bull
(Boss Javanicus).
Yeh Pulu
